Search Engine Optimization(SEO)
How Bots Crawls Google Database

Bots, Crawlers, Spiders

These are the most widely used and interchangeable terms used for digital marketing. The software program that search engine runs in order to find websites and gather the content of those sites is called a spider (also called bot, short for “robot”). It is also called crawler, because it crawls the Web, searching for the documents.

How Search Engine Works?

Search engine like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc. is a technology where consumer can find webpages/content that she wants to search at that specific point in time. To explain it in simple terms, search engine makes a copy of all webpages and stores that copy in its data centre. When the user enters a query, the search is run with the documents contained in the database. That search returns a list of links to webpages and documents considering ranking algorithm. These results displayed are called Search Engine Result Pages (SERP). For search engine relevance is everything. The longest lasting and most rewarding thing you could do for your website was to build quality content that searches actually wanted to see and provide a compelling reason for them to take action on your website.
